Official VFA-2 Bounty Hunters vinyl sticker.

Bounty Hunters — F/A-18F Super Hornets, NAS Lemoore, USS Carl Vinson. Tail code NE.

Strike Fighter Squadron 2 (VFA-2), the "Bounty Hunters," is a U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet strike fighter squadron based at Naval Air Station Lemoore, California, assigned to Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) and deployed aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). The squadron's tail code is NE and the call sign is "Bullet." Originally established as VF-2 on October 14, 1972 flying the F-14A Tomcat, the squadron's first deployment was in 1974 aboard USS Enterprise — including support for Operation Frequent Wind, the April 1975 evacuation of American personnel from Saigon. During Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1990, flying F-14s aboard USS Ranger, the Bounty Hunters logged over 550 combat missions and 1,900 combat hours — more than any other tactical squadron in the war — and served as the first Tactical Air Reconnaissance Pod System (TARPS) unit for CVW-2. After more than 30 years on the F-14 Tomcat, VF-2 was redesignated VFA-2 on July 1, 2003 and transitioned to the F/A-18F Super Hornet. This officially licensed vinyl sticker puts the Bounty Hunters colors on any flat surface that needs them — laptop, cooler, helmet bag, truck window, ready-room wall, range Yeti. Outdoor-grade vinyl, sharp die-cut edge, ready to fly.

Perfect For: VFA-2 Bounty Hunters active-duty and veteran personnel, F/A-18F Super Hornet pilots, WSOs, and maintainers, NAS Lemoore Sailors, CVW-2 and USS Carl Vinson personnel, F-14 Tomcat heritage enthusiasts, Desert Storm TARPS veterans, and Pacific Fleet strike fighter community sticker collectors.
