Strike Fighter Squadron 122 (VFA-122), the "Flying Eagles," is the Navy's West Coast Fleet Replacement Squadron for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler. Based at NAS Lemoore, California, VFA-122 trains every pilot and weapons systems officer who will fly the Super Hornet and Growler in fleet squadrons. If you fly the Rhino on the West Coast, the Flying Eagles gave you your wings.
