VAQ-129 "Vikings" is the Navy's Fleet Readiness Squadron for the EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft, based at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington. Every Growler pilot and Electronic Warfare Officer in the fleet passes through the Vikings for initial and transition training. VAQ-129 is where electronic attack careers begin — training the crews who jam, deceive, and suppress enemy air defenses.
