The Red Lancers have been a cornerstone of the Navy's maritime patrol and reconnaissance force for over seven decades, carrying a lance as their symbol and red as their color into every ocean on Earth.
VP-10 operates the Boeing P-8A Poseidon, the most advanced maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft in the world. The Red Lancers' mission set includes anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations that span vast areas of ocean.
