Training Wing 4 (TW-4) at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas, houses the Multi-Engine Training System (METS) program that produces naval aviators qualified for multi-engine aircraft assignments. This embroidered patch recognizes METS Flight Instructors — the experienced aviators who teach the unique demands of multi-engine flying, including asymmetric thrust procedures, crew resource management, and the transition from single-engine trainers to multi-engine platforms. METS graduates go on to fly P-8 Poseidons, C-130 Hercules, E-2 Hawkeyes, and other multi-engine aircraft across the fleet.
