The Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC), headquartered at NAS Fallon, Nevada, is the center of excellence for naval aviation tactical development and training. NAWDC is the parent command of the famous TOPGUN (Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program), as well as the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center, Carrier Airborne Early Warning Weapons School, and other advanced training programs. The HAVOC designation represents a tactical element within NAWDC that develops and teaches cutting-edge combat tactics to fleet aviators. NAS Fallon's vast training ranges provide the most realistic combat training environment in the Navy, and NAWDC's graduates return to the fleet as tactical leaders who raise the standard for every squadron they join.
