Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) at MCAS Yuma is the Marine Corps' center of excellence for aviation tactics and weapons employment. The Aviation Ordnance community at MAWTS-1 represents the Marines who ensure that every weapon system, bomb, missile, and round is properly configured, loaded, and ready to deliver on target. MAWTS-1 ordnance Marines set the standard for the entire Marine aviation ordnance community through the Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course.
