Official "Major League Hookers" B Co 3-82 GSAB Flippers Patch — Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 82nd General Support Aviation Battalion (Talon), 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division CH-47F Chinook Sling-Load Crew Embroidered Patch

Major League Hookers — Flippers, sling load every time, hook on every approach.

Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 82nd General Support Aviation Battalion — the "Flippers" — is the heavy-lift CH-47F Chinook company organic to the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade (82nd CAB) and the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The 3-82 GSAB itself, callsign "Talon," was added during the brigade's 2006 transformation to provide general support aviation capability — organic CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift, UH-60 Black Hawk utility, MEDEVAC, and Air Traffic Services — directly to the 82nd Airborne Division's global contingency mission. As the only heavy-lift Chinook company in the entire 82nd Airborne Division, Bravo Company "Flippers" provides the airborne division with its sole organic capacity to move outsized cargo, vehicles, artillery, sling loads, and large troop formations under one rotor disc anywhere in the world. The "Major League Hookers" callsign and patch celebrate the company's sling-load specialty — every CH-47 mission begins with the cargo hook, and the Flippers' hook crew chiefs and flight engineers are the ones who connect the load and clear the bird for departure. In 2016, the unit began fielding the newer CH-47F Chinook Multi-Year II aircraft, featuring advanced avionics, updated software, faster mission processors, improved communications and navigation systems, and digital flight control systems. The broader 82nd Aviation lineage dates to 1957 — making 82nd Aviation one of the deepest aviation lineages in the Regular Army.

Perfect For: B Co 3-82 GSAB Flippers active-duty and veteran soldiers, CH-47F Chinook pilots, flight engineers, crew chiefs, and sling-load specialists, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade (82nd CAB) personnel, 82nd Airborne Division (All-American) paratroopers and aviation supporters, Fort Bragg residents and Fayetteville NC military community, US Army heavy-lift rotary-wing community supporters, and CH-47 Chinook heritage enthusiasts.

Major League Hookers — sling load, every time.
