This WESTPAC 23 cruise patch commemorates the Battle Cats' deployment aboard USS Nimitz (CVN-68), operating the MH-60R across the Western Pacific in support of anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, and maritime security operations. The MH-60R is the Navy's premier multi-mission helicopter — hunting submarines, tracking surface contacts, and providing the carrier strike group with the rotary-wing capability that extends the fleet's eyes and ears far beyond the flight deck. This patch is a deployment memento for everyone who stood watch, turned wrenches, and flew missions with the Battle Cats during WESTPAC 23.
