HSC-25 Det 6 — forward-deployed helicopter sea combat from the Western Pacific.

HSC-25 "Island Knights" is the Navy's only forward-deployed expeditionary helicopter sea combat squadron, based at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Detachment 6 operates independently aboard ships throughout the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean, providing vertical replenishment, search and rescue, combat logistics, and special operations support. HSC-25 detachments fly the MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter and operate from a variety of surface combatants and supply ships. This Oni-themed patch represents Det 6's unique identity within the squadron.
