Marine Transport Squadron Belle Chasse (VMR Belle Chasse) is a US Marine Corps Reserve operational support airlift squadron based at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans (NAS JRB Belle Chasse), Louisiana, under Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49) and the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing (4th MAW) — Marine Forces Reserve. The squadron operates the Beechcraft UC-12W Huron — the militarized King Air 350-based light transport — providing on-demand operational support airlift, distinguished visitor (DV) movement, time-critical cargo and passenger transport, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR) lift in support of the Commandant of the Marine Corps, MARFORRES Commanding General, regional Marine Corps reserve units, and Combatant Commander tasking across the United States and overseas.
