VMFAT-501 Warlords FRS Fleet Replacement Squadron IP Instructor Pilot Patch — Teaching the F-35B

The Warlords of VMFAT-501 are the instructor pilots who teach Marines to fly the F-35B Lightning II.

This embroidered patch represents the Instructor Pilots (IPs) of Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501 (VMFAT-501), the Warlords. VMFAT-501 is the Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) for the F-35B Lightning II, where new Marine F-35 pilots receive their initial training on the stealth fighter. The IPs are the experienced F-35B pilots who teach the next generation of Lightning drivers everything from basic aircraft handling to advanced stealth tactics. Without Warlords IPs, the Marine Corps doesn't produce F-35 pilots.

Perfect For: VMFAT-501 Warlords instructor pilots, F-35B Lightning II training enthusiasts, FRS community members, and USMC instructor pilot patch collectors.
