Officially Licensed USMC VMFA-121 Green Knights Squadron PVC GITD Patch — Stealth That Glows in the Dark
The enemy can't see the F-35B. But they'll definitely see this patch at the bar.
VMFA-121 "Green Knights" is the most consequential F-35 squadron in any branch of the U.S. military. Activated on June 24, 1941, the Green Knights flew F4F Wildcats and F4U Corsairs as charter members of the legendary Cactus Air Force during the Battle of Guadalcanal in WWII. In Vietnam, VMA-121 shattered the ordnance record for Marine attack squadrons, delivering over 1,750 tons of ordnance in a single month. The squadron became the first Marine F/A-18D night attack squadron in 1989, then flew 557 sorties and logged more combat hours than any other Navy or Marine Corps tactical jet squadron during Desert Storm. On November 20, 2012, VMFA-121 became the first operational F-35B squadron in any service. In January 2017, they permanently relocated to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, making them the first forward-deployed fifth-generation fighter unit in history. This glow-in-the-dark PVC patch brings a little after-hours visibility to the Corps' premier stealth squadron.
Perfect For: VMFA-121 Green Knights past and present, F-35B Lightning II pilots and maintainers, MCAS Iwakuni Marines, 1st MAW personnel, and anyone who appreciates stealth by day and glow by night.
Green Knights — invisible in the sky, unmistakable on the flight suit.
