VMFA(AW)-533 "Hawks" is a Marine all-weather fighter attack squadron based at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, under MAG-31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. The Hawks have flown combat missions in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and the Global War on Terror. Now transitioning to the F-35B Lightning II, the Hawks continue a legacy that spans every major conflict since their activation. This patch features the classic Hawks insignia.
