Official CVN-69 USS Eisenhower VAQ-140 VAW-121 VFA-103 2023 Cruise Patch - Carrier Air Wing Seven aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69), 2023-2024 deployment, officially licensed embroidered patch.

Patriots, Bluetails, and Jolly Rogers together on one patch, marking one of the most operationally demanding carrier deployments in recent Navy history.

USS Dwight D. Eisenhower departed Naval Station Norfolk on October 14, 2023, for a nine-month cruise spanning U.S. Fifth and Sixth Fleet waters. The strike group conducted layered air and missile defense, escorted traffic through the Bab el-Mandeb, and carried out strikes against threat infrastructure in a high-tempo operational environment before returning to Norfolk in July 2024. Carrier Air Wing Seven flew every mission from Ike's flight deck. VAQ-140, the Patriots, provided EA-18G Growler electronic attack and suppression of enemy air defenses, a mission the squadron has owned since its establishment in 1985. VAW-121, the Bluetails, flew the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye for airborne early warning and command and control, a role the squadron first performed from Eisenhower's deck in 1978 when it became the first E-2C fleet squadron to operate from a carrier. VFA-103, the Jolly Rogers, delivered F/A-18F Super Hornet strike power under the skull-and-crossbones insignia the squadron adopted in 1995 from the legacy of VF-84 and the World War II-era VF-17. Together, these four commands represent the full strike, surveillance, and electronic warfare capability that made the 2023 Ike cruise a defining chapter in CVW-7 history.

Perfect for USS Eisenhower veterans and crew members, CVW-7 alumni, VAQ-140 Patriots, VAW-121 Bluetails, and VFA-103 Jolly Rogers sailors and aviators, as well as Navy aviation collectors, deployment shadow box builders, cruise book display enthusiasts, and anyone who wants a single embroidered piece that captures the full air wing story of the 2023-2024 Ike deployment.

Four squadrons, one ship, one historic cruise, stitched into a single piece of carrier aviation heritage.
