Official 1st MARDIV Dagger Battery Patch — Embroidered Patch

Steel Rain from Dagger

Dagger Battery represents the sharp end of Marine artillery — the fire support teams that put steel on target when the ground combat element needs it most. This 1st Marine Division artillery patch honors the Marines of Dagger Battery who have delivered devastating indirect fire in support of infantry operations.

The 1st Marine Division is the oldest, largest, and most decorated division in the Marine Corps, and its artillery batteries have been integral to every major operation the division has undertaken. Dagger Battery, typically a designation within one of the division's artillery battalions, carries on the tradition of Marine artillery that dates back to the Corps' earliest days. Marine artillery has evolved from the pack howitzers of World War II to the M777 lightweight towed howitzers and HIMARS rocket systems of today, but the mission remains the same — provide responsive, accurate, and devastating fire support to Marines in contact with the enemy. From the beaches of the Pacific to the streets of Iraq, 1st MARDIV artillery has been the thunder behind the assault.

Perfect For:
1st Marine Division artillery veterans, Dagger Battery personnel, Marine artillerymen, fire support team members, Camp Pendleton Marines, and military unit patch collectors

Dagger Battery. On call. On target. On time.
