HMM-262 Avionics (Vietnam) Patch
A reproduction of the original — requested by the veterans who wore it.
Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (HMM-262) served in Vietnam flying the CH-46 Sea Knight, conducting assault transport, resupply, and casualty evacuation missions across the Vietnamese countryside. The avionics section was responsible for maintaining the squadron's critical electronic systems — navigation, communication, and instrumentation that kept the Phrogs flying safely in one of the most demanding combat environments in aviation history. This patch is a faithful reproduction of the original HMM-262 avionics patch, recreated at the request of a Vietnam veteran who wanted to preserve the memory of the Marines who kept the electronics working in the heat, humidity, and chaos of the Vietnam War.
Perfect For:
HMM-262 Vietnam veterans, Marine CH-46 avionics technicians, Popasmoke community members, Vietnam-era Marine helicopter squadron personnel, and military insignia reproduction collectors.
Keeping the Phrogs' electronics alive in the jungle.
