CH-46 Frog Combat Aircrew Patch — Boeing CH-46 Sea Knight Combat Aircrew Embroidered Patch

The Phrog — CH-46 Sea Knight combat aircrew who moved Marines into and out of the fight.

The Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knight — affectionately known as the "Phrog" — was the Marine Corps' primary medium-lift assault transport helicopter for over four decades. From Vietnam through Operations Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom, the CH-46 carried Marines into combat, evacuated casualties, and delivered supplies to forward positions. The tandem-rotor Phrog was beloved by its crews for its reliability, ruggedness, and ability to get in and out of tight landing zones. The CH-46 was retired from Marine service in 2015, replaced by the MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor.

Perfect For:
CH-46 Sea Knight pilots and aircrew, Phrog community veterans, Marine medium helicopter squadron alumni, Vietnam through GWOT helicopter veterans, and USMC rotary-wing combat aircrew patch collectors.

Phrogs. CH-46. Combat aircrew.
