Boeing 747 Queen of the Skies Patch — Long Live the Queen
Because 1,574 aircraft and 54 years of production deserve more than a retirement cake.
On January 31, 2023, Boeing delivered the last 747 ever built — a 747-8F freighter registered N863GT — to Atlas Air at the Everett factory where the journey began in 1967. On her maiden delivery flight, the Queen drew a crown and "747" in the sky over eastern Washington before heading to Cincinnati. This patch captures that flight path — the final sky art from the airplane that shrank the world. From Pan Am's first commercial flight in 1970 to serving as Air Force One, the 747's distinctive hump and four engines defined what it meant to fly for over half a century. The Queen of the Skies is gone from production, but she'll keep hauling cargo and making memories for decades to come.
Perfect For: 747 pilots and flight crew, Atlas Air aviators, Boeing employees and retirees, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone who still gets chills watching four engines rotate on a widebody.
Long live the Queen. She earned her crown.
