The squadron flew the EA-6B Prowler for nearly four decades before holding its ceremonial last Prowler flight in November 2008 and beginning the transition to the Boeing EA-18G Growler. Initial operational capability arrived on 22 September 2009, making VAQ-132 the first operational EA-18G squadron in the Navy. The Scorpions then became the first squadron to deploy the Growler in combat, supporting Operation New Dawn in Iraq in 2010, and later redeployed to Italy to enforce the UN no-fly zone over Libya during Operation Odyssey Dawn — the first time the Growler fired the AGM-88 HARM missile in combat. That layered record of electronic warfare firsts gives the Scorpions identity a weight that goes well beyond a single aircraft type or deployment patch.

Perfect For: Navy electronic attack veterans, EA-18G Growler aircrew and maintainers, VAQ-132 alumni and current squadron members, NAS Whidbey Island community supporters, electronic warfare historians, aviation sticker collectors, deployment keepsake displays, laptop and gear panels, shadow boxes, and anyone building a Navy aviation collection around the EA-18G community or the long lineage of airborne electronic attack. It also makes a sharp gift for families and supporters who want a clean, unit-specific piece tied to one of the most decorated and historically significant squadrons in Navy electronic warfare.

Scorpions heritage, sticker-sized and built to mark the gear of those who were first to the fleet and first to the fight.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0742/9831/files/4_Patch_9_2620414d-4894-4638-9929-395f2334a7cf.png?v=1792619286
